As a realtor, I like to have a home’s curb appeal discussion with both my buyers and sellers. A home’s curb appeal is the lasting first impression. Just like people, a home should make a good lasting first impression.
The National Association of Realtors recently printed an article with 5 easy suggestions to improve your home’s curb appeal and provide the highest payoff. Three of the 5 recommendations are standard lawn care service, landscape maintenance and upgrades to the landscape plus adding an outdoor kitchen, new patio or deck. In addition the article lists an approximate cost for each projection and a return on the investment.
