As we all may be aware, the 2024 Presidential election is just weeks away now. So what is the answer to this question? Do elections impact the housing market?
According to economists, home sales in an election year are slower than normal in November then usually rebound in December and the following months of the new year. Also, the trend for home prices are not normally impacted in an election year. Lastly, mortgage rates tend to ease from July to November of an election year which is always welcome news.
